The Australian Rugby Union is delighted to announce the launch of the 2017 HSBC Volunteer of the Year Award. The award aims to recognise those who volunteer their time and make a significant contribution to community rugby across Australia.
The Award considers any person, of any age, who has volunteered in a role (or a few roles) for grassroots rugby in the past two years. We are celebrating the true heroes and heroines that make a significant contribution to grassroots rugby; the individuals who keep the game going; and will leave a true legacy from which others will benefit. The HSBC Volunteer of the Year is a role model that inspires others to get involved in rugby, exhibiting the ARU’s values of passion, integrity, discipline, respect and teamwork.
Nominations for 2017 HSBC Volunteer of the Year are open now.
