The Australian Rugby Union Performance Academy (ARPA) is regarded nationally as a leader in player and coach development. ARPA is the only Academy in Australia that is run by national performance staff which bases the holistic program around the five pillars of player development which focuses on Performance, Tactical, Technical, Physical, Positional Specific and Core Skill Development.
The ARPA consists of camp or workshop based performance programs for players and coaches complimenting the current learning and accreditation program offered to coaches, as well providing opportunity to aspiring representative players (club and school) from 14 - 18 years of age.
Players and coaches will benefit from instruction by some of Australia’s and the world’s leading and best up and coming coaches across position specific, unit and team play, as well as the full range of high performance capabilities including athletic performance, sports science, game analysis and leadership. The ARPA program also integrates with specialists in there chosen field, including the University of Queensland Masters of Coaching modules, as well as using the HUDL analysis software for players and coaches on course and as part of the mentor follow up program.

The Academy offers a range of performance programs which extend from coach the coaches workshops, positional and core skill development to elite high performance camps. Through the need to further develop our emerging and talent identified players and coaches ARPA has been created to provide an experience and level of performance coaching like no other in world.
Integrated as part of the ARU's talent and high performance coaching framework the academy has the benefit of working with our pathways best up and coming talent, as well as the opportunity to be mentored by the games former and current elite coaches.
